After moving from chicago to the bay area, and then to Seattle, WA, ninjagrl opened her etsy shop in 2008 to make her ninjagrl originals and prints more readily available to the world.
Her time spent as a volunteer at the Seattle Aquarium opened her eyes to the wonders of the ocean world. She hopes to emulate the aquarium’s mission in her own, small way – to inspire conservation of our marine environment by providing glimpses of the amazing creatures that live there in her unique ninja style.

Since then she married her ninja-boy counterpart, they welcomed a little ninja-baby-boy to the family, and they moved back to the Midwest. She is always dreaming and creating something....
