Announcement
Welcome to the Noble & Whimsical Etsy Shop. We specialize in modern and historical glass beads, made by hand in our Winnipeg Studio. Each bead is a tiny work of art, and I hope you'll enjoy them in your jewelry designs and historical recreation endeavors. In the downtime between bead making sessions, I use my kiln to slump all kinds of fun bottles and other glassware into useful platters, spoon rests and vessels. I'm very interested in doing custom work, so feel free to send me a message if you have something in mind!
If you're local to Winnipeg, Manitoba, you can find my beads and other products at Amuse n' Games, 1839 1/2 Portage Ave.

About NobleWhimsical
Pursuing a Passion for Glass
I have been making and selling jewelry for over ten years now, and ever since the beginning I've wanted to be able to create jewelry with beautiful lampwork beads.
Thanks to the support of my partners and the big loft in our home, I've been able to pursue my dream of creating my very own glass beads. I work from home making beads and sculpture every day, basking in the warmth of my kiln in the winter and cursing its necessity in the summer.
I am able to create all kinds of glass beads, from very modern to historical beads whose patterns go all the way back to the beginnings of glass technology. I'm a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism in the Kingdom of Northshield, and researching and making period beads is a big part of the fun of lampworking for me.
I use my kiln at night when the beads are finished annealing to slump and melt wine bottles and liquor bottles into fun and functional housewares. I love opening up the kiln in the morning to see what the magic of heat has done to the glass!
I love pushing my own limits and creating new and exciting things. Current project: Learning how to make all kinds of little fish murrini to build aquarium beads with! Stay tuned for new fun things all the time.
