Summer and fall, you will find me out on the water. After time spent in the studio, I am ready to head out doors.
Living the Life - The artist
Where it began - As a little girl on a small farm in Southern Oregon, I was care free and allowed to explore the land as well as my creative inquisitiveness. I scoured the woods behind our house for feathers, built forts , made mud pots and picked blackberries. When I wasn't exploring the beauty outside, I was learning the piano, tearing apart old cloths to create my own fashions and reading, reading reading!
When I graduated from high school, I dreamed of being a fashion designer. Working my way from production sewing, to R&D, pattern engineering to product developer. My life was forever changed when I decided to take some vintage beads from an old dress and figure out how to make them into jewelry. That self taught, inquisitive nature I learned as a child drove me to learn and grow into who I am a an artist today.
A pivotal moment: In 2005, I walked into SAKS where the fine jewelry manager loved my jewelry very much, but gave me the MOST important critique of my carrier. He said that I had a great eye, strong designs and quality work BUT.... my findings needed to be unique and not something that anyone could just buy in a catalog. With this advice and a desire to grow, I was bound and determined to learn metal work. With a few basic soldering classes and hours of creative time in the studio, I have found my voice as an artist. Now, I sell in boutiques, museums, galleries and online all over the world and am grateful every day that I am blessed to share my passion with others.
What inspires me today - You can still see the influences of my love of nature, fashion and the environment around me. Exotic images, passionate music, lush textures and colors.... These are all things that make my heart sing and my creativity flow. The stories of those that fall in love with my work and how it affects my life.
My work: Hand hammered textures in copper, bronze and sterling silver. Quality stones and findings. Rich patina colors and details. Copper and bronze are double clear coated to protect the patina and tarnishing.
I design hand crafted pieces from bold one of a kind statement pieces that will get your heart pounding, to simple everyday pieces that you can go to day after day. Proudly made in the USA for real woman of all ages.

Owner
When I am not creating jewelry, I am drawing, playing piano, belly dancing or in my garden. I am a creative soul and get so much joy and inspiration out of being out in the world around me. Especially my flower and herb garden. Oh, and my critters!

Assistant, Shipper
Spaz in head of shipping and receiving. Recycling is also a big deal around here and she is all on board with that.

Hidy
Lap Warmer, Assistant
Hidy is happy to warm my lap while I am working on the computer and is prompt in making sure I take a lunch break. She wouldn't want me to faint from hunger.... well, more like she doesn't want to faint from hunger. Either way this is a big help.

Earl the Squirrel
Creative Inspiration
Earl joined our family with a cut on his eye and no mama in site. He likes pecans and grapes. After 6 weeks living inside, Earl was big enough to joined his family in the back yard. I gain creative inspiration watching Earl and his friends play.

Andy is my partner in life and my biggest supporter. He is my Mr Incredible! He is an artist in his own right and it is wonderful to have another creative eye to run things by. He makes it possible to keep things going when things get crazy.
