Announcement   Norahsthings is a one woman shop. Everything I offer is entirely handmade by me in my smoke free home. I do not use commercial or outside manufacturing or hire others to help me. I do all the stitching, quilting, knitting, crocheting, photographing, packing and shipping. I love what I do and hope you will find something you will love also. If you want something commercially manufactured or mass produced, you have come to the wrong place, but take a look around anyway. You might change your mind. :) I love patchwork quilts and this is the type of quilting I do most of the time. Visit my website at www.norahsthings.com to see more of my work. Thank you for stopping by my shop.

Sharon was such a big help in finding the right fabric for this quilt. It turned out beautiful. As all her quilts, it is wonderfully put together. I love her quilts.

The blues and greens in this quilt remind me of the ocean. It is well made with a lot of skilled workmanship. Thank you Sharon for sharing your skills with us. Love it!!

Sharon did it again---a custom quilt for a dear friend's new grandson! Her work is such artistry and she is awesomely wonderful to work with. This quilt was a BIG hit with the new mom and dad, and grandma too. Thank you again, Sharon, for your kindness and your talent.

About

I Make Quilts

Before I retired, my dream was to have a room dedicated to quilting and to be able to quilt full time. That dream came true and I'm happy to say that I do some quilting every day.

Having an Etsy shop is great as it allows me to share my creations with others. It also allows me to do a lot of guilt-free shopping for fabric! (You can never have enough fabric.) That guilt thing is gone now as I always have new reasons to buy more.

My shop is not a high powered enterprise, but it's a lot of fun and this translates into a great success for me. I learn something new every day and have really enjoyed the interaction with my customers. There is no pressure from anyone to do more and this is the way I like it.

I'm happy that I found Etsy and that I've been able to make my shop into something I can be proud of.

I quilt, knit, crochet and read. I love a really good book. I love black cats! I hang out on Etsy a lot. Did I mention that I love black cats? :) That about says it all.

My name is Sharon and I have been sewing since I was very young. My mother was a seamstress and taught me everything I know about sewing. My goal is to make the best product I possibly can and to provide you with the very best customer service available.

I focus on baby quilts, but I also enjoy making larger quilts. Baby quilts are the most fun to make, so you will find more of them in my shop. I also include some of my knitted and crocheted items, especially baby afghans.

Everything in my shop is made by me in my smoke free home. I do not hire outside help or have any type of commercial manufacturing involved. It's just me!

I would like to thank you for taking the time to look at my shop and invite you to contact me with any questions.
