The pattern was packaged so well that it arrived safe and unscathed by the delivery service! I also appreciated the special thank you enclosed.

Jeanne responded on Jul 29, 2014

I always serve my customers honestly and clearly describe merchandise as best I can. To say that the item was "incorrect" is simply untrue and I was never asked about a return! Buyer's convo to me after receiving her items: "I received the order but very confused as to quantity of 9 " bullion I thought it was a bolt it's barely a yard I only took the brush fringe to get the bullion Do u have more bullion" My response to her convo: "I am truly sorry that I don't have more and I don't know how else I could have described the quantity available other than 1 yard 6"." My listing was quite clear: https://www.etsy.com/transaction/213024854 Too bad I was not asked to clarify before her purchase or to return afterwards!

About

Story of a Fabric, Trimming, Vintage Lace, and Pattern Hoarder!

I am a dreamer .... and a hoarder ...... of vintage and new fabrics, patterns, lace, trimmings, books, etc. ......

I've amassed such a collection of "stuff" that much of my fabric - 60 plus cartons full - had to be relegated to the basement because I had a nightmare that my upstairs workroom floor would fall through!

I still have dress fabric from the late 60s that I just never could figure out what to do with, fabrics from my samplemaking business in NYC, decorating fabrics from a gift/furnishing shop where I so loved buying the discontinued bolts of floral chintzes, fabrics that I just HAD to have from a popular home furnishings emporium in NYC where I worked, more fabrics from a nationwide home furnishings fabric store and not to mention all the fabrics I've collect on my last job!

Add to that my mom's patterns, my superfluous patterns along with the antique and vintage laces, tablecloths, hankies, trimmings, ribbons, etc., that I just HAD to have when lollygagging around my friend's antique shop in NYC years ago, not to mention the collection of sewing machines...some coming, others going!
In the past, I've designed and made many dozens of fanciful decorative pillows, fabric handbags, sumptuous fabric frames, contracted out custom drapery treatments, to clothes both for a private clientele as well as select retail shops....I've done that.....then ~

This shop was originally started to be an avenue for my clothing and home furnishings design work, but the hoard of the hoarder is what it is now, using it as a venue to sell the superfluous, what-nots and whatchamacallits in the realm of fabrics, trimmings, laces, etc.; the collections and sewing machines have been crowding me out of my workroom for far too long, so the collector must now thin out, pack up and ship out to you dear customer who can better use it than me!

My other shop with a different theme, features furnishings and items I've designed and made ~ http://www.etsy.com/shop/PruAtelier

So, take a few minutes to browse .....do enjoy ..... and I would love for you to honor me with a visit again!

By the way, KOUSA is the name of the beautiful Japanese Dogwood tree, the Cornus Kousa with the pointed white bracts that are the flowers that fill the tree!
