Kate is extremely kind and caring - this was a custom order and all earring pairs were spectacular! Kate went above and beyond, from designing them, to answering questions, to having everything created and ready super fast! Her jewelry is a work of art and everything was beautiful! Thank you Kate!!!

Well, these ear rings are absolutely my favorite! 1st it’s not easy to find crystal dangle ear rings; these are even prettier in person! Love them!! Shipping was fast!

Bought these earrings as a birthday gift for my partner. They love them! Kate was immediately responsive and arranged a local dropoff right to my mailbox.

A great bumble bee jasper and I like the accent amber beads. Nicely made, happy with this purchase and will be back!

This unique quartz necklace made such a perfect gift for my MIL! Thanks so much!
My name is Kate and I am the artist behind North Croft Studio! NCS was started in my little art studio and became an official shop in October 2016. The name North Croft comes from the name of our house so I thought it was a nice ode to where everything started for me; I love what I do and I'm so happy to be sharing it with everyone!
Please contact me if you have any questions about my work or if you would like to discuss a custom piece of jewelry!
Born in Kansas City and raised in Ann Arbor, I have been making art my entire life. I learned beadwork at my very first job in a local jewelry store and after 10 years I started North Croft Studio in order to pursue my love of jewelry making.

Frequently asked questions
I make most of my necklaces to about 18" and bracelets to about 7" because that is considered an average length. If you need something shortened or made longer please feel free to contact me with questions. There are usually simple solutions to either of those problems!
Custom and personalized orders
I love custom orders! See some earrings in the shop that you love but we're imagining a different stone? Like the stones in a necklace but want earrings instead? Contact me, I would love to help come up with a design! Another great custom order would be for birthstone jewelry! Need a gift for Mother's Day? Know anyone having a baby soon? Maybe you just love your birthstone (I'm usually pretty jealous of June babies!) Please feel free to shoot me a message with any questions!
**please note for jewelry: I will try my best to come up with something that you will love but also appreciate a little creative freedom since a lot of it depends on bead availability!
ALL metal parts of the jewelry (clasp, chain, jump rings, earwires, etc.) are sterling silver (.925) unless otherwise stated in individual listings, ALL gemstones used in the jewelry are natural and genuine stones, and all knotted necklaces and bracelets are on silk thread.
Please feel free to contact me with any repair questions! If you buy a knotted necklace or bracelet from me and the silk breaks (usually from lots of wear) send it back to me and I will re-knot it for free! Or if you’ve had a piece of jewelry sitting in your jewelry box that needs to be fixed I will quote you a repair price so that you can wear it again!!
Over time, as sterling is exposed to oxygen, it becomes darker and tarnishes. This can be solved by simply buying a polishing cloth (I never recommend using a liquid cleaner because it can damage the metal over time and possibly damage the stones, especially softer stones like pearls) but for a little extra help you can store your jewelry in small plastic baggies to prevent oxidation.
Also, some gemstones (such as those belonging to the Quartz family) fade in sunlight so make sure your jewelry doesn't spend long periods of time in bright windows!
All the photos in my listings are taken by a professional and are edited as minimally as possible (mostly just for a little contrast) to ensure that the colors match the real life version as closely as possible. However, this cannot account for the way they appear on your individual computer screen so please know that it is possible that there might be a very slight variation in color or brightness when you receive the item.
