Announcement   As I was sitting down to spin this morning, thinking did I want to spin this fiber lace or worsted, it occurred to me to ask YOU what yarns you'd like to see in my shop. Do you check out the Cashmere and want more colors? Do you look at the Bison and think I'd love it if she combined it with another fiber? Do you want more choices of gauge in Alpaca? More skeins of a certain color and fiber? I would LOVE to hear what you, my lovely customers--and people just interested in yarn--are dreaming about for your yarn. Many thanks!

~~~~ Enjoy exploring the Luxury Yarns of Northern Bay Handspun Yarn -- Bison, Silk, Camel, Yak, Cashmere, Bamboo, Milk, Falkland, Qiviut ... My desire is for you to ENJOY every minute of your knitting, spinning, felting. Working with my yarns and fibers will make you laugh and sigh with pleasure.
I am constantly adding more yarns -- the dye pots are bubbling and the wheel is spinning. So check back when you can.
When you use the SHOP SECTION listing remember that with combination fibers, I have to choose into which SECTION the yarn will go (it can't go in two) -- Silk or Cashmere? Yak or Merino? Milk or Alpaca? So check out all the SECTIONS if you want to get a broader view of my yarns.
Welcome to my happy fiber home. I try to add new yarns and fibers to my shop at least once a week. My goal is to make you as happy as I am dyeing your fiber and spinning your yarn.
There are no inside animals in the house in case you are allergic. I wash my skeins as soon as I am finished spinning them. I don't need to set the twist because my yarns are balanced when I'm finished plying them. I work very hard to ensure that the colors are portrayed accurately, but monitors vary and my forte is dyeing and spinning not photography!
If what arrives at your doorstep is not what you had wanted, don't hesitate to let me know. Your happiness is a huge deal with me (the same as I like to be happy with my purchases when I shop). We can work it all out.
If I spin/dye a special fiber or yarn for you, I will put it up under a Reserve just for you. My policy is that while you are not required to purchase a Reserve -- you do need to either purchase the item within 7 days of it going up in the shop or let me know by 7 days if it wasn't what you had in mind. At the end of 7 days, it will go into my shops inventory (or maybe I'll get to knit with it!).
Payment
Payment is expected at the time of purchase. If you want to pay by check, I am more than happy with that method. Not everyone wants to deal in credit cards & Paypal. I will have to wait until the check clears and then your package will be whisking its way to you.
Shipping
I ship First Class. If you want your yarn faster just let me know (although I've been having better luck with First Class than with Priority!). I ship within 48 hours of receiving your order (except of course Sundays and holidays) and I've been known to get it in the mail the same day as you order!
Refunds and Exchanges
If for some reason you've paid more for shipping than the actual shipping costs, I will refund the difference (unless it's under a $1) through PayPal.
If you are unhappy with your purchase, I am more than glad to issue a refund as soon as I receive the unaltered purchase back. I'll also refund your initial postage when you purchased the yarn or fiber but not the return postage.
My goal is for you to be completely satisfied with your purchase. If this is not the case, I would appreciate it if you would give me a chance to address your concerns before leaving feedback.
Additional policies and FAQs
See the color you like but not in the fiber or yarn you want? No problem, let me know and I'll dye some new fiber for you and spin it up. If your request is over $100, I will need $25 as a down payment.
