Is it possible to clean out the birdhouse?

Yes. There is a 3 inch diameter cleanout hole with a wood cover on the back wall of each birdhouse.

Can the birdhouses be left out all four seasons?

Yes. The birdhouse is constructed with 3/4 inch pine wood and 1/2 inch fir plywood painted with a double coat of exterior latex paint. The roof is made with hand-cut shingles over plywood. To extend the life of the birdhouse, we recommend spraying it with Varathane or an equivalent product once a year.

How is item sent?

Each order is sent by Canada Post. Items in stock will be shipped within 3 business days once payment is received.

What if item is lost, stolen or damaged?

Northern Birdhouses is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged packages upon transfer to shipping carrier. Northern Birdhouses will not be held responsible for additional shipping charges incurred if packages are returned due to customer absence, errors in shipping address, or package refusal.
