north loop yarn was started as a way to have more control over my own yarn stash! I love color and was finding myself always wishing that one yarn or another was just a *little* more yellow, or a *wee* bit more greenish, or with maybe a *hint* of blue... My solution to that dilemma was simply to start dyeing my own! My background in fine arts, education in color theory and love of anything knitting-related have me striving for the best with my yarns. No two are exactly alike. I hope you enjoy knitting or crocheting with them as much as I enjoy dyeing them!

Returns and exchanges
Items can be returned within one week for a full refund, minus any shipping charges, no questions asked. Please note, however, that any modifications to the yarn, including winding into a ball, make the item non-returnable.

Payment
I currently only accept Paypal and request that payment be made at the time you place your order. I understand that this isn't always possible so if I have not received payment within 24 hours I will send out a friendly reminder. If I don't hear back from you at that point, I will have to cancel the sale and re-list the item. Thank you for understanding!

For items shipped to Maine addresses, 5% sales tax will be added.
Shipping
Purchases going to customers within the United States will be sent via USPS First Class Mail within three business days of your order. International orders will be mailed once a week, generally on Saturday, and will be shipped via USPS First Class International. All taxes, customs and duties are the responsibility of the purchaser. I use PayPal shipping, so please ensure that your PayPal address is correct!

USPS Priority mail is available for an additional charge. If you would like to upgrade your shipping, please contact me and I will send you an updated invoice.

Insurance and/or delivery confirmation are available upon request, for an additional charge. Insurance is highly recommended for larger orders. I cannot be responsible for transit times or items that become lost in the mail.

Please note that while I have made every effort to ensure that the color you see on your monitor will match the yarn that gets delivered to your door, there may be some variation.

I currently do not do custom dye jobs, but feel free to contact me if there is a color/combination that you would like to see and I will get in touch with you if it makes it onto the virtual shelves!
