So beautiful! Kristi had great communication with me to make a perfect piece. It shipped very fast and was exactly what I wanted. Great unique piece. Thank you, Kristi!!!
I wanted to do them justice
When I finally laid hands on an antique watch, and looked at the gorgeous engravings, and saw the incredible thought and detail put into the pieces, I knew I wanted to do them justice. I couldn't just slap some gears into an acrylic mold and consider it done.
Some of these majestic watches date back to the early 1700s. They have HISTORY, they have beauty, and they have a story.
The watches I take apart are not 'living'. I can't get them repaired easily (or cheaply!). Many watchmakers don't have the required parts to repair a 1783 Fusee timepiece. But when you see these gorgeous works of art, you just *can't* throw them away. They must not go to the recycler to be melted down.
I enjoy working with items that have integrity. Good quality gold and silver. Real diamonds, emeralds, rubies. These amazing horological artifacts (note: horology is the science of measuring time) deserve the fine treatment. They deserve to be passed down in generations, like they had been as watches.
This is what I want to do. When the watch is at the end of its life as a timepiece, I want to breathe new life into them, and serve them justice.
Owner, Maker, Designer, Curator, I Buy, Dismantle, Order, Make
This is a hobby of mine that occasionally makes some money. I don't sell enough to live off the proceeds, much less make a profit. These are my tiny works of art, and I'm always thrilled to learn when someone loves it as much as I do. So when you like something, or something goes wrong, or you just wanna chat about how I make these- I'm more than happy to talk things through with you.
I'll do everything I can to make you happy; not because the customer is always right, but because this is something I love, and I want others to love it too!
I value your opinion and feedback. If you never let me know what you like, or what I've done wrong, I'll never learn!

Refunds and Exchanges
Should the item break or fall apart (which can happen- you're wearing it, touching it, and extreme temperatures can damage the epoxy), I will be glad to repair it at no cost within one (1) year of purchase. Please just return all pieces, and I'll fix it as quickly as possible. If a gemstone is lost, I will replace it at no cost within three (3) months of purchase. If this happens after the three month term, I will be happy to replace a lost gemstone at a reduced cost.
Please keep in mind, these are antique watch parts I'm using. Some have rust (which I'll identify, if I see it), and nearly all of these pieces have seen 70+ years of use in a pocket watch. They will not be perfect, gleaming specimens from the factory- they've led a long life, and like many of us, have the scars to prove it. I do my best to identify any scratches, rust, or other flaws in the piece, but please remember that they're not perfect.
As for hardware, the pieces will be brand-new, never used, and from a reputable source. There should never be problems with these parts, and if there are, please notify me immediately.
Communication is key. I'm very happy to work with you, but I'm a single person here. Please work with me, and I'll do everything I can to help!
Additional policies and FAQs
I am always happy to accept a custom order. These pieces take time to create, especially if I need to order hardware or jewels for the piece. If you place an order, but do not communicate with me concerning your desires for the custom piece, I will wait a month, then issue a full refund. I will not make custom orders without guidance- that's why these are "custom".
Once we agree on the order and your desires, I'll begin making the piece. I require at least 3-6 weeks to complete the piece, but will usually have it to you before that time.
