Shipping
Vinyl records will be meticulously cleaned prior to shipping. Records are then placed in a poly bag and carefully packaged in a sturdy cardboard mailer with cardboard pads and shipped USPS Media Mail with tracking for domestic orders, and now for several international locations as well. (That list is currently expanding.)

Books and magazines will be shipped via USPS Media mail with tracking, and packaged in a poly bag, and then placed in a box or a sturdy cardboard mailer, or in an envelope between 2 pieces of cardboard, depending on the size. I occasionally recycle packaging materials for books. If you prefer that I don't, please let me know and I will use new packaging material.

Some heavier books will ship priority; this will be specified in the listing. All orders over $25 will be insured. If you would like an alternate to my standard shipping, please convo me.

International orders are priced for First Class International and will be packaged with care. If you are purchasing multiple items, please convo me so I may give you an accurate price. ITEMS WEIGHING OVER 4 LBS MUST UPRGRADE TO PRIORITY INTERNATIONAL. If you purchase several items, I will let you know if the weight requires an upgrade.

Some items are priced for USA only because of their weight. Please convo me for a price for your country, if interested in that item. I would be happy to ship anywhere, and will give you an accurate price for PRIORITY INTERNATIONAL.

I COMBINE SHIPPING COSTS FOR MULTIPLE ITEMS AND REFUND OVERAGES OF $2 OR MORE.

IF YOUR ITEM IS A GIFT, please let me know if you would like me to leave out the receipt, which I usually pack with the item. I will gift wrap free of charge upon request.

Shipping for larger orders (5+ albums) will be priced individually, as well as multiple items (books and records).

DOMESTIC ORDERS TOTALING $100 OR MORE WILL RECEIVE FREE
SHIPPING.

"Domestic" refers to the lower 48 states. Alaska and Hawaii will require individual shipping quotes.

INTERNATIONAL ORDERS TOTALING $100 OR MORE RECEIVE 10% OFF.

***Customs and duty fees for international orders, if incurred, are the responsibility of the buyer.

Items ship within 1-2 business days and in most cases within 24 hours.
Refunds and Exchanges
I want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Below is a guide to how I grade my records. Upon receipt of your purchase, if the record does not live up to my grading description, please convo me before leaving feedback so that I may correct the problem.

All items are guaranteed to be in the condition described or you may return them within 2 weeks of arrival and receive a full refund. Buyer pays return postage, unless there is a glaring error on my part.
Additional policies and FAQs
Vinyl is visually graded according to industry standards (Goldmine) and done to the best of my ability. I assign separate grades for the cover and vinyl.

GOLDMINE STANDARDS

Mint (M)
These are absolutely perfect in every way. This grade is rarely used.

Near Mint (NM or M-)
A good description of a NM record is "it looks like it just came from a retail store and it was opened for the first time". In other words, it is nearly perfect. NM records are shiny, with no visible defects. Writing, stickers or other markings cannot appear on the label, nor can any "spindle marks" from someone trying to put the record on the turntable. If played, it will do so without "surface noise".
NM covers have no creases, ringwear or seam splits of any kind.

Very Good Plus (VG+) or Excellent
A good description of a VG+ record is "except for a couple minor things, this would be NM." VG+ records may show some slight signs of wear, including light scoffs and very light scratches that do not affect the listening experience. Slight warps that do not affect sound are okay. Minor signs of handling are OK, too, such as telltale marks around the center hole, but repeated playing has not misshapen the hole. There may be some very light ring wear or discoloration, but it should be barely noticeable.
VG+ covers should have only minor wear. A VG+ cover may have some very minor seam wear or a split (less than one inch long) at the bottom, the most vulnerable location. Also, a VG+ cover may have some defacing, such as a cut-out marking.

Very Good (VG)
VG records have more obvious flaws than their counterparts in better shape. They lack most of the original gloss found on factory-fresh records. Groove wear is evident on sight, as are light scratches deep enough to be felt with a fingernail. When played, a VG record has surface noise, and some scratches may be audible, especially in soft passages and during a song's intro and ending. But the noise will not overpower the music otherwise. Minor writing, tape, or a sticker can detract from the label.
VG covers will have many signs of human handling. Ring wear in the middle or along the edges of the cover where the edge of a record would reside, is obvious, though not overwhelming. Some more creases might be visible. Seam splitting will be more obvious; it may appear on all three sides, though it won't be obvious upon looking. Someone might have written on it or stamped a price tag on it.

Good (G), Good Plus (G+) or Very Good Minus (VG-)
Good does not mean bad! The record still plays through without skipping, so it can serve as filler until something better comes along. But it has significant surface noise and groove wear, and the label is worn, with significant ring wear, heavy writing, or obvious damage caused by someone trying to remove tape or stickers. A Good to VG- cover has ring wear to the point of distraction, has seem splits obvious on sight and may have even heavier writing, such as huge radio station letters across the front.
