Knitting as Meditation.

Knitting is meditative. It is as much about the process as it is about the finished piece. The repetitive motion of knitting at some point becomes rhythmic.

All of the garments available from NotoriousKnits are hand knit by myself. To me, they represent moments of relaxation in an otherwise busy life.

I enjoy creating pieces that are simple and functional. I often draw inspiration from the seasonal landscape in Minnesota.

I find it lovely any time someone warrants my pieces worthy of purchase. How flattering! Creating a treasured and useful garment is a privilege.
