A Contemporary Twist on Traditional Craft
Creating things with my hands has always brought me great satisfaction. As a child I loved making treasures for my family and friends. I was ten years old when I first learned to cross stitch - a skill that took my gift making to the next level!
I studied architecture in college and received a degree in Environmental Design from Texas A&M University. I loved everything about school, but model building was my absolute favorite! (I believe my education makes me superior at sewing patterns and LEGO construction.) After schooling I became a mother and wanted to continue creating from home.
At present I spend the majority of my time creating fun and modern cross stitch pieces and patterns. I have a very supportive family who finds my misplaced needles and goes in public with embroidery floss stuck to their clothes. I am busy training the next generation who is already showing great promise.
My designs have a contemporary style, but their heart is in the past. You can call me (not so) Modern Millie.

Custom and personalized orders
I do not take custom orders or alter existing patterns. I do have a shop section for Customizable Patterns that have options to personalize the text.
Digital item returns
Due to the electronic nature of the pattern, no refunds can be given after the email has been sent. If you have any questions about a pattern, please ask before ordering.
Selling finished work
Finished items created from my patterns may not be sold. Alterations to the pattern, such as color, do not change the nature of the intellectual property.

Patterns are for personal use only and copies are not to be distributed to others.
