Storytelling through pattern....

Nottene Studio, pronounced [nuh-ten-uh], is run by husband and wife team Kimberly Ellen Hall & Justin Hardison. Kim is an illustrator with an MA in textiles from Central St Martins in London while Justin is a self-taught printmaker. We draw and create objects and pattern for home through commissions and our own collection of hand-drawn and screen printed wallpaper and dye-printed fabric that encourages people to look for longer. We are interested in the histories of objects in the home and how the stories embedded in them can change over time.

Nottene, pronounced [nuh-ten-nuh], is a Philadelphia pattern studio that makes wallpaper, fabric and hand made objects for home. We are interested in the histories of objects at home, making things that will last, and the intimacy of the hand made. We are passionate about connecting to the interiors and places where their work is shown and installed. Learning the stories and translating them to become understandable to a wide variety of audiences is central to our practice.

Ceramic tiles & wallpaper cannot be accepted for refunds. Buyer must pay return shipping.

Payment is required upon purchase.
Shipping
Postage within the US is (unless otherwise requested) via Priority Mail.

Postage internationally is via normal Air Mail. Postage costs vary from location and depend on the weight of your item/s. If I overestimate the cost I will refund you back the difference. Buyers will be responsible for any and all duties and customs charges that may be incurred.

Please ensure your details are up to date as I cannot be held responsible for lost, damaged or unclaimed deliveries once they enter the postal system. But if it does
go astray I promise to do my very best to help you locate it.
