Announcement   Handpainted & inspired original artwork; handmade baby gifts. New items added often, custom designs made on request.

My artwork is dubbed as Inspired because I lean so heavily on God when it is painted. Often I don't know what picture I'm painting until it takes shape under His careful direction. It is such an amazing humbling experience. 'Less of me, more of You, Lord' is my prayer each time. See the about page for more of the story! I would love for you to read how God is working.

This shop enables me to stay at home with our two boys. We greatly value family time, and this is something flexible and relaxing I can do around our sometimes crazy lives.

Did you know many of my prints are available as a card? This traditional blessing from Numbers 6 would make an excellent graduation card!

About

I Paint to Worship

And God said, “Paint.” What a thrill I get when I hear those words breathed into my soul.
I have been down this road before.
He instructs what medium, what canvas, what brush, what color.
I follow.
He moves the brush along the canvas.
I love the sweet surrender.

Some of these paintings He has directed me to give away, and some of them grace the walls of our home. Every time I look at them I am blessed, because I know it was all God. He is wonderful.

I watched a picture take form on the paper, I painted, and He told me to come back later and finish. I want My words on it this time, Child. Let it dry, and when you come back to it, I will show you which words.

So I pulled out my Bible, and opened it up. I just knew God was going to direct me to the verse I had in mind already. It opened up, instead, to Psalm 104:3
“...He walks upon the wings of the wind.”

Yes, I should have known better the first time. Thank you, God!

Just close your eyes, and let Me paint.
"Really? God, this could get ugly."
Who is painting here, Me or you? Just do it. Close your eyes and let Me paint.

God is trying to tell us something."

He was.
Because when I opened up my Bible to see which verse I had just illustrated, here's the one God revealed.

Psalm 104:1 Bless the LORD, O my soul! O LORD my God, You are very great; You are clothed with splendor and majesty

Indeed. How Great Thou Art.
I love the beauty in collaborating with God, but more than that, I love the sweet surrender.

To God be all the glory, and may these pictures bless your heart as they have mine.

I am a Christian, wife, mother and friend. I love to create, be, learn, do and sing {although that may be reserved for the car or shower}. I have loved many forms of art since I could hold a crayon, and feel that it's an expressive form of worship.
