About

Recycled, repurposed and restored

i've always been a creator, I started learning electronics and mechanics with my father, who was an electronics engineer, as soon as i could be trusted with a screwdriver :) and went from taking apart plugs to poking about in the back of tvs before i started senior school. At that point I also discovered and sewing and painting with my mother.I was a creative and probably destructive child :)
My first job was at a decorators merchant where they taught the basics of decorating, specialist finishes and interior design, which I built on over the years and gained several qualifications in. I then studied Tiffany/copperfoil glass work for several years until spotting a fused glass window in Cornwall, love at first sight !
At that point I had a bit of a life change and devoted myself to earning a wage and building a home for my lovely daughter on shoestring type wages, Virtually all the fixtures and fittings in our home are repurposed and recycled items, paintings as cupboard doors, a teak planter as a bathroom sink, a tallboy wardrobe as a entertainment centre unit...
A few years ago I came to another transition point and went self employed as a Interior designer, decorator and handywoman. That business bounded out of the starting gate and laid the foundations for my next 2 businesses the first of which is here, recycled, repurposed and restored lighting.
No interior design scheme is complete without the right lighting, in one of my jobs I was responsible for reopening a lighting shop and was surprised at the time by the lack of feminine touches in the design segment, and resolved to do something about it, when I had the time :)
My lighting store on here will continuously evolve, as all my other works do, so feel free to 'favourite' ( following only follows the items I'm looking at) my shop, if your perfect piece isn't here now it probably will be in the future, also please contact me if there is something you need in the near future as individual commissions are always very happily received.
Hopefully you will keep in touch and enjoy the progression of my shop offerings as much as I enjoy making them :)
Happy following

Gift wrapping and packaging

No problem at all. If you wish to send an item as a gift direct to the recipient, please let me know

How will your item be packed

Your lights will be sent in a cardboard box using recycled materials as much as possible, but will always be safe and secure inside. Please reserve a few minutes, and possibly a big bag, on delivery day for unpacking. Those naked wotsits fly everywhere !

Returns and damages

While I would prefer to see if we can arrange something to make you happy with your order sometimes returns are necessary.

The light must be with me within 30 days of it's original delivery date. If the shipment is not of the 'insured and signed for' variety number11interiors cannot be held responsible for non receipt and a refund will not be issued.

Deliveries

Once a parcel is with the courier it's classed as your property.
Please look out for any cards or notifications from the courier, I will help as much as possible but I am not allowed to adjust delivery addresses or arrange redeliveries, whereas you will be able to.
If your light is returned, as uncollected, postage cannot be refunded and any damage will have to be charged for.
If you would like your light to be redelivered to you there will be a further postage charge to pay.
