5 out of 5 starsSo glad I decided to get a bunny made from my son’s receiving blanket. It’s a beautiful keepsake that he will have forever. Numsie does not leave out any of the details. All the stripes on the blanket match up perfectly and it’s very soft, not hard or lumpy. Much better than leaving the blanket sit in the drawer til it gets thrown out eventually. Also the bunny comes wrapped in the remnants of the blanket you send, so you can always hang on to that piece if you like. 10/10 would recommend.

A fleece bunny with ears lined with baby's hospital hat is another great heirloom toy.

Hospital blankets or flannel blankets work well for toys. All are shipped USPS priority mail with tracking.

There's a ton of TLC in every toy. Toys are swaddled in any extra blanket for a cozy trip to their forever home.
Who knew?!
One day my daughter gave me her baby girl's receiving blanket and asked me if I could make something special out of it. From that simple request, the blanket bunnies were born! (It was close to Easter, so a bunny seemed appropriate). Other animals have been added to the inventory over the years.... bears, elephants, hippos, kitties, puppies and whales!
I know how hard it can be to put your baby's blanket in the mail! I treat each and every blanket that is sent to me like the treasure that it is and send the finished toy back to its forever home via USPS priority mail with tracking. There is almost always a bit of blanket that is not needed for the toy. I finish the edges, and the toy is swaddled in the leftover fabric for its journey home.
Want a blanket that looks like the one your hospital had - you can find most of them on amazon! Flannel blankets (most people get a few at the baby shower), work well for the plush toys, too. What doesn't work? Hand-knit or crocheted, muslin and stretchy blankets. Those blanket fabrics will not hold their shape as a toy. Check out my Etsy listings for more details.

For items other than the receiving blanket toys: Masks are personal use items, so are not returnable. Other Items must be postmarked for return within 2 weeks of receipt, in its original condition and unused. Please also note return shipping is the customer’s responsibility and the initial shipping cost is not refundable.
Custom orders are not returnable or refundable, but custom orders are only filled after the order has been discussed in Esty convos.
