There's a story behind every handcrafted piece. My grandmother's necklace from the 1970s deconstructed and refashioned into a gorgeous, modern pair of earrings. A flea market find reset and restrung. A childhood box of lanyards grown up with some gold chain and good craftsmanship.

Hi, I'm Megan! I love discovering vintage pieces and refashioning them into something new and wearable. It started with an inherited collection of vintage costume jewelry, and now trolling yard sales and relatives basements looking for the diamond in the rough. Many of my pieces come with a story, which you find via link on the product page. There's just something about knowing where it came from that makes your "new" bracelet that much more special.

I thought the stone was actual marble not plastic.

Hey Jade, The bead used on this ring is 100% real stone. Sorry for any confusion. I'd be happy to refund or remake your order upon request and receipt of the returned ring – just shoot me a message. Thanks! Megan

About

Something Old, Something New

It all started with a collection of vintage costume jewelry my mother-in-law gave me. There were some well-made but, well, 80s-tastic pieces in that box. I wanted to keep them, but there was no way I had the hipster power to pull off a necklace that I'm pretty sure came from the set of The Golden Girls. That's when I decided to break that sucker down! Because, by themselves, the unique hand-painted beads were actually gorgeous, and totally wearable.

Many of my pieces come with a story, which I will be featuring on my blog (link below). There's just something about knowing where it came from that makes your "new" bracelet that much more special. Not only are you wearing a gorgeous piece of handmade and/or vintage jewelry, but you're wearing a story. Yay!
