I cannot express how utterly amazing this pie was!!! I am from Georgia and I know my pecan pies and this was just perfection. Not to mention that even though I ordered way too late, somehow Audra got the pie to me by Valentine's Day as a gift to my husband. I will absolutely be ordering again. Thank you Audra!!!

I promise I will get to the pie but first I have to say what a wonderfully sweet, prompt, professional and talented person Audra is! She made my pies and had them delivered on the exact date that I needed them with a note inside that I asked her to include. I so appreciate it! Okay the pie...I ordered the vegan version and it was AMAZING! My Dad who is not vegan and a passionate lover of pecan pies said it is one of the best ones he has ever had. It was delicious and the perfect gift for his birthday. Thank you Audra! I think this will be my traditional holiday gift from now on. :)

About

My story in a nut shell.

My shop is a combination of two things I love the most (besides my husband!): Baking and Sewing.

I am by trade, a photographer, which is what my shop mainly used to be, but as an ever evolving artist, I've come to realize I like more than just photography, thus why I have started selling baked and sewn goods!

When I recently received a KitchenAid mixer as a wedding gift, I knew the baker inside me was ready to shine. I've been making pies for the past several years, but only for holidays and the occasional "I-feel-like-baking-right-now!" kinda moods. The pies were always a hit, so I decided (with the help and support of earlier mentioned husband) to change my previous shop to honor my creative passions.

As sewing goes, I remember when my mother made me sew my own high school drama costume with a pattern and all the bells and whistles. I thought it was fun, but brutal and tedious. Needless to say I didn't sew very much after that, but once I grew up and my ideas toward art and manufactured pieces changed, I started to see sewing as a passion and not just another task.

I am a very laid back person and I enjoy a simplistic process. I use patterns for my sewn items, and my photographs are taken using a vintage Beacon 225 camera with 120 film. Yep, old school style. For my pies, I use fresh ingredients and take pride in handmaking each one.

I encourage you to look around my shop and please do not hesitate to ask questions! I am very happy to be a part of an incredibly creative community! Thank you Etsy and those that buy local and support handmade artists!
