It finally arrived! I forgot how slow USPS delivery. I was half dying for waiting.
This is a terrific master piece. Apparently the most beautiful musical instrument I've ever seen. Sound is pretty quiet than my thought but it's okay for me and I'm sure I can play louder with my finger nails short.
I've been playing guitar for 10 years and tried several instruments. There weren't many instruments you can feel so good just touching some random notes. I'm very happy to have this lovely thing.
I can't thank you enough Caleb. Keep the good work :)

About

All about innovation

People often ask me how I make my ambiras and kalimbas. The short answer is that I cut, shape, smooth, assemble, and tune each individual instrument, hand making every part except for the nuts and bolts. I often make several instruments at a time.

I have spent countless hours over the past several years to develop my trade mark nyKalimba instrument designs and unique ambira tuning systems. I hope you like my creations!

I live in the Hudson River Valley an hour north of NYC. I am a lifelong musician who plays many instruments. Sharing my kalimbas lets me put the power of making music into other people's hands.

Returns and exchanges
If for some reason you are not satisfied with the item you receive, please message me so we can resolve the issue. I put a lot of love into every single instrument that I make, and your satisfaction is very important to me.
Payment
I am very flexible about how you pay, however I will not ship an item until payment is received, checks have cleared, etc...
Shipping
I try to reuse packaging and boxes whenever possible.

I prefer to use USPS whenever possible, and my listed shipping rates are for USPS. If you need something shipped faster or prefer another carrier, let me know and the proper arrangement will be made.

If you order more than one item then I will only charge shipping for additional items if the increase in weight actually incurs additional shipping costs with the carrier.
Additional policies and FAQs
My ambiras and kalimbas are made entirely by hand. Natural variations in the wood grain, and minor differences in shaping the parts are inevitable. Generally speaking, the cost of my instruments are directly related to the amount of time I spend on them.

As a father of a young child, I make all my instruments safe for young children to handle, although not all of my instruments will be comfortable for small children to play (many of them are though!).

I would be happy to discuss any ideas you may have about a special kalimba that you would like me to make or design just for you.
