Returns and exchanges
I offer a 100% buyer satisfaction guarantee, and should your purchase not meet your expectations, you can return the item in it's original, unused condition, for full credit towards any other item in the store (with the exception of shipping charges). Please make sure you contact us within 3 days of receiving your package to let us know if there is an issue with your order. You MUST email us PRIOR to shipping the item back. After 7 days, we reserve the right to decline any returns or requests for an exchange, no exceptions.
"Buyers' Remorse" or "Change of Heart" are not sufficient grounds for a refund or replacement. Please excercise good judgement before placing your order and take the opportunity to ask questions before you buy. We will work with you and happily answer all of your questions.
Please make sure returns are mailed back to NYLightMetals within THREE days after receiving item.

**Care and Handling**
Jewelry, featuring vintage and heirloom components, are a bit more delicate than fabricated pieces and require a soft touch and gentile care. Please treat your "new" gems with love and extra attention and they will surely last you for years and years. As with anything else, things can break, even on the very first day, if treated roughly. Sadly we cannot be responsible for any mishaps. Treat your jewelry with a light touch :)

* Insurance *
I am happy to provide insurance for orders in the US for an additional $2 -$5 just email me and I will make all the arrangements. Internationally: Unfortunately First Class Air Mail does not offer any form of insurance or tracking, simply a Customs Claim number that allows you to retrieve a package at your local Customs Office in the event of a customs issue. Obviously we do our very best to ensure that all packages go through seamlessly, however, in that rare case of a Customs problem, there is very little we can do to expedite delivery. That is why for orders over $75 we strongly recommend you use either UPS or FedEx with tracking and confirmation to safeguard and guarantee your delivery.

We work extra extra hard to ensure fast, safe delivery in the US and Internationally. Having said that, we obviously have no control over the postal service and are in no way responsible for items getting lost or damaged in transit. If you chose to have your jewelry shipped via First Class Air Mail we are responsible for your items up until the point of handing them over to the US Postal Carrier and providing you with all receipts to show timely shipping.
