About

In every life there are broken pieces... What do you do with yours?

One afternoon as I was crafting, I began to quietly sing this favorite chorus of mine:
“ Something beautiful, something good- All my confusion He understood. All I had to offer Him was brokenness and strife, but He made something beautiful of my life. ”

Suddenly I became aware of how similar what we do with fragments of glass is to what God does with a life when it is placed in His hands. Nearly every piece in our mosaics is the product of many blows of a hammer to materials discarded or unwanted by others. Likewise, the broken pieces in our lives are characterized by moments of suffering and of feeling useless and unwanted. But just as we take the greatest care in placing each scrap, God lovingly and patiently arranges our brokenness into a life yielded to Him- a life filled with joy and love and peace- a life truly glorifying to its Creator.

What have you done with your broken pieces? Have you tucked them away out of sight? I can assure you, if we carried shards of china around in our pockets it would only cause us tremendous pain. Do you leave your broken pieces out for all to see? Experience has shown us that leaving broken glass lying around not only hurts us but also those we love. Or, have you given your broken pieces over to the Master, to be honed and bejeweled and made into something truly beautiful?

Hi, and welcome to somethingbeUtiful!

Whether elegant or quirky, we strive to make each mosaic piece unique. We work equally hard to ensure that what you purchase arrives in good order and in a timely manner.

Most packages are shipped within 2 days in standard shipping boxes. However, our shipper can create custom foam crates, when necessary, to protect even the most delicate and over-sized dimensional pieces. These take a couple more days for handling time, but it ensures that your special item will arrive in good order.

If you have any questions regarding an item, or would like additional pictures, please convo us prior to your purchase.

We are happy to gift wrap an item, free of charge. Just let us know!

Lastly, please remember to leave reviews for all your sellers here on Etsy, as it is the foundation upon which we build our businesses.
