This is a beautiful item, just as pictured in the listing. Can't wait to use it as our maple syrup pitcher!

Welcome to the Oak Bluffs Cottage Pottery Etsy online store! We (Susan and Ray) have been working together since 1978 in southern Vermont, making handmade stoneware and porcelain pottery and teaching pottery classes. We live in a small farming-residential town on our five acres, four wooded and one cleared. We heat our home-studio with firewood, care for a small orchard of 12 fruit trees, and plant a large garden in the summer, in addition to making our handmade pottery.
We have 10 potter's wheels in our studio, which are used both by us and our students, and have two kilns, a 7.3 cubic foot electric kiln which we glaze-fire to cone 5 in oxidation, and a 45 cubic foot propane-fired downdraft kiln which we glaze-fire to cone 10 in reduction.
You can learn more about our careers in ceramic art and handcraft pottery by visiting Ray's web site, www.raybub.com

Accepted payment methods

  • Accepts Etsy gift cards
Payment
We only accept PayPal credit card payments.
Shipping
We ship ground service via the US Post Office or United Parcel Service. All pieces for sale have a shipping charge listed, which includes packing, shipping, and insurance costs. We have learned over the years how to carefully pack our pottery for shipping, and in the past have experienced few damaged-in-shipping problems.
Refunds and Exchanges
If you receive a piece of pottery purchased from us which has been damaged in shipping, an insurance claim will be entered by us with the US Post Office or UPS. You will need to keep the damaged piece of pottery in the original shipping container with original wrapping and cushioning materials, until the shipper decides if they will pick up the damaged piece for examination. We will do our best to replace the damaged piece with one the same size and color. Since we make all our pieces one-at-a-time by hand, it may take some time, possibly 4 to 6 weeks, to replace the damaged piece with a close equivalent. You may also choose another equally priced piece, pay the difference for a more expensive piece from our Etsy store, or request a refund.
Additional policies and FAQs
We will do our best to make sure you are satisfied with our handmade pottery pieces purchased from the Oak Bluffs Cottage Pottery online Etsy store. We are proud of our work, and hope you will also be proud to own, use, and enjoy it!
