I started Objects of Affection, LLC after working for thirty years in sales and marketing, one day I woke up and decided it was time to do what I love everyday and just hoped and prayed I might be able to make a living. My first step was going to school to become an antique appraiser, from there I started buying at estate sales and auctions and filled my antique booth at the local mall with everything that I love! After tearing my achilles tendon in a stroke of bad luck, I decided to start making quilts again after a 25 year rest, and challenged myself to make 30 quilts from a car load of material I bought at an estate sale. Not all of the material is what I would have chosen, but the lady who passed away and left this treasure to her children had a great since of color and style, I am glad that I am able to take her treasured sash of fabrics and make them my own creations. I hope you will enjoy them also. So on my Etsy site you will find treasures that I have found at estate sales and also handmade items.
