Absolutely lovely to work with! She made sure all my questions were answered and we were talking back and forth a lot. Communication was amazing! I couldn't be happier with her customer service and he beautifully crafted masked for my wedding!

About

From Circus SideShows To Steampunk!

A few short years ago my best friend and I planned a trip to New Orleans for Mardis Gras... prior to this I had never made a mask in life.

I decided to try my hand at making something for both of us because I had a nagging suspicious that all of the masks there would either be mass-produced, cheap rubbish or far too expensive for either of us to afford. It turns out I was right and when we arrived party-goers soon saw our masks and ascended upon us like a fresh kill in the desert.

We were bombarded with questions about how the masks were made, who they could buy them from and where the shop was.
I realized suddenly that the shop was in my little grey cells and that it was time to give birth to a new era in disguise-making.
***

After making luxury carnival masks for a couple of years I discovered the Steampunk subculture and realized that if the fine ladies and gentlemen of Steampunk were so fond of monocles and goggles (a classic sign of those times) it wouldn't be such a great stretch to create full-on masks with those elements added into them -encompassing the elegance and charm of the Victorian age while embracing the foreword thinking of stark-raving mad innovators.

Thus, I settled into my new home and was finally able to find a place to fuse my love for history, antiques, handmade masks and creative writing all together!

And a most satisfying journey this is, indeed!

Frequently asked questions

Custom and personalized orders

I'm MORE than happy to create a mask custom order for you (time permitting) if you have any specific color preferences or ideas about what you'd like to wear for any occasion! Run your ideas by me and let's make magic happen! :D

Care instructions

Because my masks have a soft fabric interior, the best way to clean them would be to lightly spritz them with an antibacterial spray or a mild mixture of water and alcohol in order keep the fabric fresh and bacteria-free (especially if you've been sweating in your disguise). Just make sure to avoid spraying the label!

Gift wrapping and packaging

All masks are sent out beautifully gift-wrapped and well-secured/packaged so that they arrive in one piece, just the way they were sent out! As for me gift wrapping your order... who doesn't want to receive presents in the mail?! :D
