Note from shop owner Hello and thanks for dropping by!

My shop is on a brief break while I am working in the White Mountains of NH. While I wish I could be at home making pots, research calls. I will return home in mid-July, so please stop by again soon.

While my pieces are not available at this time, if you have any questions or inquiries please feel free to shoot me a message. I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Cheers!

About

I am a currently a grad student studying forest soils, who also loves making pottery. (You could say I'm one with the soil.) I enjoy spending nights and weekends working in the studio making all sorts of things.

A little about how I got here:

I grew up in Maine and slightly recall playing around with some handbuilding when I was in middle school. In fact, I’m pretty sure that my Mom still has some figures that I made proudly on display somewhere in her house.

6 years ago I started taking classes in Northern Virginia and fell in love with it. I've been spending more time over the last few years figuring out what I really enjoy making, and find that consistency in studio time is incredibly helpful.

Currently I am a member of a community studio at the YMCA in Blacksburg, VA and have recently started teaching a hand-building class there. I am also a member of the Blue Ridge Potters Guild.

I plan to continue learning, creating, and expanding on my skills and techniques. Maybe one day I'll even have my own studio! For now I'm just happy to make and share my creations with others.

By day I'm a grad student working with forest soils, by night I'm an aspiring potter. What can I say, I'm just a big fan of clay! I've been working with clay for 4 years, and am currently focused on hand building and making functional pieces.

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalized orders

While I can make custom or personalized items, the time to fulfill these orders is very time consuming. I do not have full control over my firing schedule for items, which means that sometimes things can take a little longer to process. If you still want to inquire, please contact me, and let's see what we can work out!

Care instructions

The glazes that I use are all lead-free and food safe (unless otherwise mentioned in the item details).

Items are also microwave and dishwasher safe, though items with metal additions are not. This is something that will be mentioned in the item details as well.

If you have any specific questions, please feel free to contact me!
