About

Statement jewelry made from natural stones, brass, wood, feathers, and fringe.

Odyssey & Oddities is an affordable statement jewelry line made from gemstones, fringe, wood and feathers in Cleveland, OH by me- Nikki Lundberg! As a graduate of the Kent State Fashion School in 2012, I struggled for years to find my career footing after college. I worked a barrage of different fashion jobs, restaurant serving, retail, even trying my hand at stand-up comedy- in the end leading me back to a love of jewelry making I've had since I was a child. The name Odyssey & Oddities- yeah it's pretty long-winded in retrospect, and proves to be a tongue twister for a lot of people. But if you talked to me in real life, I'm a bit long-winded too. It's a play on one of my favorite albums by the 1960s rock group the Zombies- Odessy & Oracle. Give it a listen! I should note I'm not being paid for this plug. I started my Etsy shop in the summer of 2013, setting out to sell a variety of curated vintage, hand knit items, dyed silk scarves, and jewelry. Eventually I decided to stick to the jewelry route, but who knows what the future holds for me!

A love of jewelry is in my DNA- my grandpa has collected, cut, and tumbled gemstones for over 40 years. My mom, who is also an artist and jewelry designer, passed that love of gemstones down to me, and has been my biggest supporter in life. Handmade jewelry is a saturated market here in Cleveland (and, let's be honest, everywhere), so over the past few years of running Odyssey & Oddities, I have really began to set myself apart. The aesthetic of my jewelry is reminiscent of the excess of the 1970s, the Art Deco Movement, drag culture, and unusual colors and patterns found in nature. I always say that my customer is a "Thrift Store Queen" - even if they don't have a lot of money they have their own unique style and can still turn out fabulous head to toe looks! O&O is designed for the person who doesn't take themselves too seriously, and isn't afraid to stand out from the crowd. I am so happy to be (almost!) making a full time living expressing myself and making beautiful designs for my fabulous customers!

  • The Cleveland Flea
    Downtown Cleveland
    CLEVELAND, OH

    Apr 21–Oct 13

EVENTS HELD ON: April 21 May 12 June 9 July 14 August 11 September 8 October 13 Two markets. One mission. Each month, the Cleveland Flea welcomes 170+ vendors and 35,000 shoppers to our Tyler Village home, in Cleveland's AsiaTown neighborhood. Our Sunday Market is a smaller, brunch-themed affair, nestled in Ohio City's Hingetown pocket. Vintage and salvage dealers set up shop next to jewelers, fine artists and bakers, furniture crafters and charcuterie makers. The Flea is at once a foodie feast and community gathering place, a weekend excursion in the city and a movement to back a brilliant creative class. Stephanie Sheldon (Indie Foundry) founded the Cleveland Flea in 2013 as a way to support the makers, dreamers and creative small businesses that call Cleveland home. She wanted to build a means for them to make a living (and to keep making it in Cleveland), while serving up an experience shoppers couldn't get anyplace else.
