Thank you so much for visiting Ogdenarthaus today. I am delighted to show my creations- my expressions of self. I hope that you will see something that pleases you, inspires you or simply makes you smile. BTW- if you are looking for a specific pattern or monogram for your spoon keychain, just convo me- I have several bins that I am working from and I might just have what you're looking for- they contain over 800 pieces. I also live for the treasure hunt and will search high and low for that pattern or monogram that holds special meaning for you! BTW-If you see a pattern you like, I would encourage you to purchase it - as with all vintage inspired art- once I sell it, I may not be able to find the raw materials again.

I invite you to visit my Sold Section too. Sometimes I do have more of the raw materials but I just haven't made it into Everyday Art yet-- this is espcially true with the stamp ornaments. If you see one that you like, convo me, I might just have another one that I can make for you!

Do you need an "A" monogram? This initial is infuriating to put into a search-- it either shows everything or nothing. I currently have two pieces with "A" monograms:

If you are new to my OgdenArthaus, I'd like to invite you to friend me on facebook www.facebook.com/pages/ogdenarthaus I post new listings, treasuries, and secret shop sales.

I also have a blog that is full of the weird, insightful and mundane things I remember to write down. You can find my musings at www.ogdenarthaus.blogspot.com. I recently posted a short photo essay about the transformation of grimy spoon to shiny key chain. Stop by and see what was happening on the workbench:

This is how I find them – straight from the flea market or the auction or the junk shop. Tarnished and greasy, their beauty hidden – but I know what lies beneath. And with a little elbow grease I can bring back and make them gorgeous!
I love a gentle curve on my turns. Not only are they pretty to look at, I think they feel a little better in your hand. Sometimes the silverware doesn't want to bend so smoothly but with a little patience and skill, I can usually get a very nice turn.
"J" monograms are notoriously hard to find- and to get really awesome ones!! Well, you know I did a happy dance at the auction!!

Refunds and Exchanges
I want you to be happy with your purchase. If you are not pleased with your treasure, please convo me and we will try to work something out.

Please note that most of my work is created from vintage silverware pieces that nearly always show signs of use and age. Please review the description and photos carefully- I do my best to point out all the flaws and wear that actually give vintage pieces that charm and personality many of us love. The item must be very different from the description to be returned and the buyer must get approval from me prior to returning the item.

The buyer must pay to ship the item back and must pay for delivery confirmation. I will refund the original purchase price minus original shipping through paypal when I receive the item and it is found to be in its original condition.

Custom items and sales items may not be returned.
Additional policies and FAQs
I love to find special silverware pieces for people! Last year a bride contacted me to supply her with key chains for her wedding party. She had nine bridesmaids and I was able to find individually monogrammed to match each young lady. Her sentiment to them was, "Thank you for being a KEY part of my special day!" So unique and special. If that sounds like something you would like, contact me and we can get started!
