This is a very small plate with no style. You can buy this plate on Amazon for about $10. I would like a refund in full. It is outrageous that you would charge this much money for a mere little plate that can be purchased anywhere handmade or not. Not only is the plate expensive, but the shipping is ridiculous

I am sorry you did not like the plate that I sent you and I was more than happy to refund your money. My work is all handmade and I cannot compete w/ Amazon or any other machine manufactured ceramics on price. What I CAN compete on is crafting creative & unique functional objects of art!

About

from public health to pottery

I live in Boston, Massachusetts, but have lived all over the globe, working with potters in Southern Africa & South America and working as a Peace Corps Volunteer, public health educator & social activist. Now, as a full-time studio potter, one way I am helping to improve health is as an advocate of fermentation.

I understand that the decision to buy handmade objects is more than just an economic decision, but a political one. By creating functional ceramic art for use in the kitchen & home, I hope to be making beautiful & useful objects while also building a more just economy and appreciation for craft.

Each piece is lead-free, non-toxic, dishwasher & microwave safe, and has been fired to over 2200 o. With care, it should last a lifetime! Learn more about my crocks at www.oguskyceramics.com
