Basement and a work bench

My journey with woodturning started around 2008 with an off handed comment to my father. “It would be neat to have a lathe.” A few months later a Jet midi lathe showed up on my front porch as a birthday present. I set it up on an old workbench in the basement and started going to work.

Over the years I have made a wide variety of items and learned many lessons, mostly the hard way. I have literally put my blood sweat and tears into honing my skills. Shortly after getting started, I was turning a rock maple bowl while wearing simple eye protection. Well, as luck would have it that day, the bowl flew off the lathe at about 3000 RPM’s and caught me square in the forehead. An Emergency Room visit, to the hospital I worked at, and nine stitches later I was able to return home learning a few valuable lessons. FACE SHIELD!! is the biggest one.

I now focus manly on smaller items like pens and wine stoppers, but turn the occasional vase or bowl. It is all about losing myself in the experience and getting to share the outcome with the world.

Returns and exchange details
Refunds are granted on a case by case basis.

Damaged or defective items will be replaced with a like item or may be returned for a full refund.

If you do not like an item, a refund may be granted for the purchase price only and the item must be returned in its original condition.

Buyer is responsible for return shipping unless otherwise agreed upon.

Refunds are only issued once items are returned regardless of the reason and will be initiated within 48 hours of receipt.

No refunds will be granted without a returned item.
