Received this today! I love it. Accurate to description. Shipping is fast, delivery isn't. NOT sellers fault. We live in different countries, so it took awhile.
It all began in a little shop in California....
My love for all things vintage began when I was in high school and in charge of costumes for the 1950's play my theatre class was putting on. After pouring over books at the library, and rummaging my way through every second hand store in the area I was officially hooked.
This passion for all things vintage and handmade was revived two years later when I was living in California. I used to spend hours and hours rummaging through antique and thrift store falling in love with all the vintage fashion.
In the fashion design class I was taking at the time I had a thought: 'what happens to clothes and jewellery when it's not in fashion anymore and a store can't sell it?'
I decided to put this question to a little jewellery boutique owner out of genuine curiosity, and out of that one little question my store was born. He told me that he'd run this little shop since the late 1970's and that fashions come and go so quickly and that he normally hangs onto whatever jewellery he can't sell and then puts it back in the shop when it's back in fashion again. However it was the next thing he told me that changed everything. He told me he was looking to retire soon and couldn't afford to store a lot of the jewellery anymore so he was looking to downsize his amazing collection that he'd accumulated over the years.
He showed me his collection and instantly I was in love. I often get the question: 'how can you have more than one piece of jewellery if it's vintage?' And this is how! Every piece in my store is hand chosen from his collection or accumulated over the years of thrift store shopping. I choose each piece for its high quality, it's hint of quirkiness and it's classic everyday style.
It's from there that I truly started my love affair with jewellery and started designing and making my own pieces from broken vintage, vintage beads, or new items with a retro or classic feel. My shop and designs are a reflection of my love for all things vintage, but with a modern spin or stylish enough to be worn today.

I do my very best to list and photograph any flaws that I've noticed on the article but sometimes little things may get overlooked. Please understand that some minor tarnishes and wear are normal for vintage goods, and that I try to list the quality of the item as best as possible.
