An educator by trade, I have always loved to create and learn. I learned to spin initially from the most delightful little old nurse at a boy scout camp when I was 8. (And that is another whole story!) Initially, I worked with sheep's wool but did not enjoy the feel of it. 15 years ago, my husband and I bought our first alpaca and the next step has been an incredible love affair with fiber of all kinds. I love to spin, felt, sew, quilt, and design and my brain literally never stops. I am now stretching into art quilts using multiple techniques and materials including non-standard items such as metal. I invite you to watch my crazy journey. It's one heck of a ride!
