Hand Embroidered Lovelies

"Oh my heart!" is our household phrase for moments or objects that are just too precious. With each item I create, my motivating goal are those three words. When you open your packages for the first time, I want you to fall in love with your new beautiful item, sitting pretty in it's packaging, waiting to be cherished. After all what is more special than something handmade? Why do we spend that extra money to buy something on etsy and not from a factory across the world? Because every detail, from each stitch, to the screws tightened on an embroidery hoop, is done with pride and care. That, is what my shop is all about.

Isn't it special to know that each handmade item you purchase has carefully been crafted with the warmth and care of two hands? Because of the extra time and attention handmade requires over mass produced items, a few policies have been put in place to help both you and I have a successful transaction.

Accepted payment methods

I gladly accept returns and exchanges
Contact me within: 14 days of delivery
Ship items back within: 30 days of delivery
I don't accept cancellations
But please contact me if you have any problems with your order.
The following items can't be returned or exchanged
Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)
  • Items on sale

My goal is to leave you completely satisfied with your purchase- if a problem arises please contact me as soon as possible.

♥♥♥ RETURNS/EXCHANGES
I triple check to ensure accurate and comprehensive information is provided for all products offered. It is the buyer's responsibility to read descriptions and policies before purchasing. In the unfortunate case you are unhappy with a product I gladly accept returns or exchanges (with the exception of personalized or custom orders, see below). You must contact me within 14 days of delivery, and I must receive the item unused and in the original packaging within 30 days. The buyer will be responsible to pay return postage and no refund will be given for shipping costs.

♥♥♥ PERSONALIZED/CUSTOM ORDERS:
Concerns will be handled on a case by case basis. However please note that I generally do not accept returns on these types of orders. If you are concerned, I am more than happy to send a photo proof of your piece prior to shipping.

♥♥♥ CANCELING AN ORDER:
It is the buyer's responsibility to make an educated purchase considering the transparent service I provide. This includes turnaround and shipping times in the case of a deadline. If you would like to cancel an order please contact me ASAP. I'm happy to do what I can but decisions will be handled on a case to case basis as refunds cannot be issued if your piece has already been started.
Payment
I gladly accept all major forms of payment. As a protections to both you and myself, the purchase of a listing is required before orders are started so that both parties can have a written agreement of the work to be completed.
Shipping
♥♥♥ PROCESSING TIME:
Time needed to prepare orders varies and will be disclosed on the listing for individual items. Often orders ship faster but in the rare case of a delay, you will be contacted immediately with options for proceeding. If an item is needed by a certain date please contact me prior to purchase and I will gladly do what I can to help :) The buyer is responsible for verifying processing/shipping times I provide so that an informed purchases can be made. Refunds are not accepted when these efforts are ignored. A slight processing delay may occur if required information is missing from your order or responses are delayed.

♥♥♥ INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
I've recently switched to a new provider so that international orders include tracking and faster delivery time! (YAY) Still I sadly cannot hand deliver your order. We are stuck relying on a third party service. Therefore I do not provide refunds or discounts in the rare inconvenience of a delayed/missing delivery beyond my control. Buyer acknowledges this upon agreement to purchase. However I'm happy to do all I can in tracking down your order or filing for insurance. If a faster shipping upgrade is needed, contact me prior to purchase and I'll gladly do what I can to help.
Please be aware of your country's import charges, you are responsible for any customs fees.
For US orders, ChitChats will deliver your package across the US boarder to be delivered in the final stage by USPS.

♥♥♥ SHIPPING WITHIN CANADA:
Most orders are shipped via Canada Post as oversized letter mail. Unfortunately this does NOT INCLUDE TRACKING OR INSURANCE. Upgrading to include these incurs a huge additional cost (between $15-$20). Who wants to pay that much?! But please understand, as soon as any issue arises customers return to me unhappy and demanding a solution despite the problem being out of my control. You can see why I would prefer to require that all customers purchase this upgrade. Out of consideration for keeping costs lower for you I've compromised and dropped this requirement. In other words, this cheaper method is provided as a favour to my wonderful customers. But please be fully aware that I therefore deny any responsibility for compensation in the case of an order being lost in transit. (Although rest assured such a situation has yet to arise.) And I will not provide discounts or a refund if your order does not arrive when you expect it. There is no way for me to trace a package if tracking was not purchased. If you would like insurance or tracking contact me prior to purchase.
This shipping method also limits the size of packages to 2cm thick. Any setting measuring more than 1 7/8" long or 3/4" wide that will not fit in the smaller kraft box will be gift-wrapped in another manner. Cuff bracelets will require the shipping upgrade due to their size.

♥♥♥ WHY HASN'T MY ITEM ARRIVED YET?
Rest assured, your item is very likely still on its way. In the case that there is an unusual delay consider, is it holiday season? Has there been a postage disruption? These factors could cause a slight longer than normal shipping time.

♥♥♥ WHAT IS MY ORDER'S TRACKING NUMBER?
Tracking can be found when you look at your order in Etsy. For Canadian buyers please note that unless you contacted me for a shipping upgrade, orders do not come with tracking. There is no way to trace your package without this upgrade. See shipping policies for more details.
