The very first conference I was invited to attend as a vendor. So proud of my little table! blush

About

It all started as a fun hobby!

Sewing became one of those things for me...you know, one of those things that relaxes you and makes you happy!

My primary "job" as a stay-at-home mom is absolutely wonderful and I wouldn't trade it for the world. But sewing was something that I could do while the kids were napping. It has given me a chance to be creative - which I never knew I had in me. I'm a linear person...but I think that's why sewing works for me. It's creatively linear! If I need some time to myself, my super supportive hubby steps in and I can go to our basement and sew. Or organize my fabric - which is a never ending project.

I love trying to make new things. Whether it's something I truly have never tried before, or something that is familiar but uses different fabrics or techniques. It's all about honing my self-taught skills and MAKING something. Taking bits of fabric and transforming it into something fun or useful - it gives me a feeling of accomplishment.

What's great about having an Etsy shop now to display my little projects is that I can make room for more fabric! :o) As people discover my creations, I hope that they are made as happy as I have been made in fabricating them. And, as people make their purchases, you can be sure that I'll be out making my own to create more fun things for my shop!
