About

Welcome to Oh This Nose!

Thank you so much for visiting our shop!

We are a Mother and Daughter operation with many directions and inspirations...oh this nose. Follow the nose!

We design and make quilts with a special preference for wool fabric and batting, natural fibers: alpaca, cotton, linen -- and more wool! There are so many gorgeous fibers out there!

We are honored to work with genuine Pendleton® wool fabrics to create our fabric bound and crocheted edge blankets. We've had a lifelong love affair with our favorite local woolen mill -- it is a joy to have worn and appreciated Pendleton garments and blankets in our lives, and to now work with their beautiful fabric.

We love to knit up simple, sumptuous shawls in alpaca, and luxurious, hand knit socks with beautiful yarns often found right here on etsy. We crochet wool afghans on occasion, and we make pillows, garlands, and decor items for the home. We design and craft bags large and small, tea cozies, coasters, pot holders and linens for the kitchen. Oh! And then there is vintage -- we have quite a few of our favorite finds available for sale...

So as you can see we are a bit busy, and happy around here (chasing our respective noses). Oh this nose is dedicated to the late Great Grace who had many charming catchphrases: "Oh this nose!" was one of them.

Keep an eye on our emerging products, and new designs by signing up for our Seasonal Newsletter (we will keep it short, with pretty photos, and only send 4 issues a year!)
