Taking a break from listing items - A constant problem with this shop... Should I keep it or sell it?
If it can be rescued, and I have a way, I will do it!
I started collecting vintage at an early age. I was always enthralled with garage sales and the items that others saw as "junk." My first vintage piece that I remember rescuing was a bright yellow Hagar ceramic vase. It still sits on a shelf in my kitchen.
At a point, I realized that I couldn't possibly keep everything that I collected, so I started selling it here on etsy. I have two vintage shops, this one for vintage jewels and accessories, and my other home goods shop, SublimeHouseWarming which showcases vintage housewares and upcycled vintage items.
I take pride in rescuing and refurbishing vintage items. For those items that can't be sold "as is," I incorporate them into my jewelry designs, also sold here on etsy in my Originals by Lynnette shop.

I was always intrigued by the musty smelling boxes of tins, trinkets and magazines in my grandparents' basement. I've always hoarded jewels and vintage goodness. My first 'run in' wth vintage was at a very early age. My grandmother had given me a bag of little nylon butterflies and bugs, I attached them to every possible thing in my room. I thought it was lovely, my mother did not. The obsession grew when I was in middle school and a friend of mine was helping his grandmother clean out her storage for a garage sale. She gave me loads of rhinestone jewelry, cocktail rings, and a fabulous bright yellow McCoy vase that I still lovingly display.
My love of vintage is in full force. I love picking through thrift stores, garage sales, other people's 'junk.'
In this shop, you will find pieces that I either acquired as part of other collections, but don't suit me, or items that I just knew would make a splash here on etsy. I also have a small amount of destash items from overy zealous supply buying binges.
