This isn’t just a card—it’s an experience! Yay! Mail is fun and Youn Chung is seriously talented and devoted to the details. My dear old Dad is going to flip for this card and even before I (yay!) mail it, I am already having a great time checking out the creative ideas that make this purchase perfect. And how about that fast shipping?! Thanks so much for sharing your gifts and hard work with us on Etsy!

The latest addition to the shop... just in time for Father's Day!
Who says you can't have your cake and eat it too?? Our 3D "shadowbox" cards (like this one) can be easily flattened and shipped in an envelope (sans a bulky and more expensive box). That way you can enjoy the best of both worlds! smile YAY!
Introducing our newest interactive card! Modeled after the classic gumball machine design, the turn key actually turns to "dispense" a green gumball and complete the punny message, "I Chews...You!"

We may have heralded a few hashtags in our day and we enjoy emojis as much as the next person but at YayMail, we can't seem to shake the magical feeling of finding a tangible letter in your mailbox. You know... that tinge of excitement that can only come from seeing your name scrawled on the envelope. And that mounting fever of anticipation as you open that birthday card. Or that warm fuzziness glowing long after reading that thank you note.

Call us old fashioned, but it's those moments that have us stuck on stationary, kooky for cards, and still believing in the power and art of hand written letters.

It's why we're on a mission to help people upgrade their correspondence game. By creating engaging and emotive paper greetings, we hope to empower people to send their best selves to the ones they care about the most.

It's why we're hard working paper pushers - pushing paper to be all it can be. In a world full of digital animation, paper needs to do more - and it can! Spinning around, popping up, even taking flight, we dream up cards that behave differently from most and bring them to life through an iterative prototyping process.

It's why we go the extra mile to make every card by hand. It's the only way we know how to ensure a level of quality that we can personally stand by. While we don't believe you need an occasion to send mail, we know that's what it usually comes to and we won't be the weakest link in helping you nail it!

Because of the nature of these items, unless they arrive damaged or defective, I can't accept returns for:
  • Custom or personalized orders
  • Perishable products (like food or flowers)
  • Digital downloads
  • Intimate items (for health/hygiene reasons)

Due to the nature of these items, all sales are final and refunds nor exchanges cannot be given once the file has been downloaded. I am however, committed to doing all that I can to ensure that you are happy with your purchase. If for any reason you are unhappy with your order, please contact me within 5 business days of receiving your purchase and I would be happy to work towards a resolution.

For hygienic reasons, earrings are non-returnable

If your order arrives damaged, just send me a photo of the packaging and damaged item within 5 business days of receiving your purchase and I’ll be happy to send a replacement free of charge using the original shipping method. If for any reason I am unable to provide a comparable replacement, I’ll be happy to provide an exchange for an item of equal value or provide a full refund.

If your item is lost in the mail, I’ll send a replacement free of charge using the original shipping method. If I do not have a comparable replacement in stock however, I’ll be happy to provide an exchange or full refund.

If however, the postal service claims your item was delivered, but you never received it, I’ll send a replacement, but ask that you cover the cost of re-shipping. If I do not have a comparable replacement in stock, I’ll issue a store credit for the value of your order.

If you received your order safely but would still like to return it, please let us know within 10 business days of receiving your purchase. Unless the return is due to a defective product, items should be shipped back at the buyer’s expense. A refund will not be given until items are returned in their original, unused, undamaged condition.

Custom orders are non refundable.
Customer satisfaction is our top priority, especially when it comes to custom orders. That’s why I believe in providing customers with opportunities to proof and provide approval of all personalized items before they are sent to print. If an error is spotted after buyer approval, the buyer will remain responsible for the product and a refund will not be issued.
YayMail accepts major credit cards and Paypal.
All payments are due upon purchase.
Washington state residents will be charged sales tax.
Unless otherwise noted*, every order will be shipped from Santa Clara, CA within 3 business days of purchase. Your order will be sent to the shipping address you provide to Etsy (not PayPal). Therefore, please ensure that your Etsy information is up to date and correct. YayMail is not responsible for any missing packages due to an incorrect address provided on your Etsy invoice.

I ship everyday from Monday to Friday. Orders placed on Friday-Sunday or on a US holiday will be shipped out the next Monday or next business day.

*Please check my shop announcements for holidays, vacations, etc. that may delay order shipping.

All orders are shipped by first class international mail. Please note that first class international packages to most countries DO NOT have tracking service. Should you wish to upgrade to priority/express service, please contact me before placing your order - I will calculate the cost of expedited shipping and if you agree to pay the extra cost, I will adjust the shipping cost in the listing.

While we do our best to keep the shipping rates for international orders as low as possible, some international orders may incur additional import taxes or duties upon delivery. Please understand that YayMail is not responsible for covering or reimbursing these additional fees. For more information on duties and fees, please contact your local Post Office.
Additional policies and FAQs
We are required to charge a sales tax of 9.5% and 8.75% for all orders placed within the state of Washington or California respectively. For orders placed outside these states, sales tax will not be charged.
