As a child, I dreamed of becoming a designer, manga artist or illustrator, but at some point "grew up" and lost that dream.

It took a series of twists and turns for life to persuade me that it was never too late to pursue one's dream.

With a toddler at home and another baby on the way, I studied handbag construction and design at the Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT). Those night time courses were fascinating and game-changing.

I opened my Etsy shop in the fall of 2006.
I've seen Etsy evolve into an amazing global market place, and have tried to grow with it.
I am humbled by the many customers who have bought one (or many!) of my creations, and the visitors who have sent me lovely words of encouragement.

My goal is to create little things that will make someone smile, a little happier, every time she holds it in her hands. Because life, however long it may seem, is a composite of little moments, and it's the little things that make it sparkle.
