From an old barn comes a thriving business adventure
Old Barn Rescue Company was started in 2003 with an old family barn that had to be torn down. We couldn't stand the thought of all that wonderful wood going to the trash. We rescued some of the wood, started creating signs, and voila!
I've been a lettering artist for 30 years working for such companies as American Greetings and Trader Joe's. I started adding quotes to our products and found a great connection between a love for timeworn materials, exquisite lettering, and inspiring words - they all provided a more stunning way to tell a story.
In the fall of 2008, we embarked on Old Barn Rescue Company’s custom vinyl wall decal product line. It has been a smashing success and has become our sole focus! We love the versatility and ease of cut vinyl. You can have professional lettering directly on your walls with our matte finish vinyl lettering - it really looks hand-painted and comes at a wonderful price for changing the look of an entire room!
In the Spring of 2012, Missy Castro joined Old Barn Rescue from St. Louis. With a background in graphic design and a great sense of humor she is a fabulous addition to our company.
