I have sewn quite a few cat patterns however I kept coming back to this 'Gentleman' cat, finally buying the last pattern, I believe. This 'cat' is so classy, all their patterns are, but he is 'artistic'! Fine detail and 'look' gives him quite the distinction over other patterns and he joins my collection as an example of 'fine' pattern art and quite the 'guy' at parties. Thanks for sharing your creativity with all of us!!

I don’t own a printer but traced the image from my iPad and added an extra inch for cutting purposes. I can’t wait to put him together.
Vintage Inpsired Ornaments and Primitive Doll Patterns
Welcome to Old World Primitives by Stephanie Baker. I make handmade holiday ornaments, primitive dolls and primitive doll patterns, for those of you who want to make my doll designs yourself!
My inspiration for Old World Primitives began in childhood, growing up in homes built in the 1700s that were filled with antiques - with barns on the property filled with curious old things. Weekends were spent at flea markets, garage sales, scavenging off the roadside, or digging in the yards of old abandoned houses. My family's Christmas tree was decorated with antique glass, spun cotton, and homemade ornaments. My work reflects my connection to the past.
When I am not crafting in a cozy little mountain town near the Idaho/Wyoming border, you will find me hiking, camping, backpacking, skiing, or snowshoeing in the great outdoors with my husband Max. You can follow my outdoor adventures at:

I own and run the Old World Primitives Etsy shop; design ornaments, patterns, and dolls; handcraft ornaments and dolls; pack and ship orders.

Gift orders being shipped directly to the recipient
You are welcome to place orders to be shipped directly to a gift recipient. Each and every package that I mail out is beautifully wrapped, and will be nicely presented for your gift recipient. I don't include receipts in any packages (this saves trees), so I won't include one with your gift order either. If you would like me to include a gift note in your package at no extra charge, please specify what you would like it to say in the Note to Seller field during the checkout process. Don't forget to change your own shipping address to the address of the gift recipient during checkout too.
Please note: You will need to place a separate order for each separate recipient that you are having me ship a gift to.
I am not accepting new wholesale accounts at this time.
Custom and personalized orders
If you would like to request any type of customization to a product or packaging, please make this request before making your purchase. That way I can determine if I have the ability & materials to accommodate your request, and can calculate what the cost for the customization will be in advance of your purchase. Please do not use the Note to Seller field during checkout as a first point of contact to request customization (that may not be possible, or free).
