Vintage Inpsired Ornaments and Primitive Doll Patterns
Welcome to Old World Primitives by Stephanie Baker. I make handmade holiday ornaments, primitive dolls and primitive doll patterns, for those of you who want to make my doll designs yourself!
My inspiration for Old World Primitives began in childhood, growing up in homes built in the 1700s that were filled with antiques - with barns on the property filled with curious old things. Weekends were spent at flea markets, garage sales, scavenging off the roadside, or digging in the yards of old abandoned houses. My family's Christmas tree was decorated with antique glass, spun cotton, and homemade ornaments. My work reflects my connection to the past.
When I am not crafting in a cozy little mountain town near the Idaho/Wyoming border, you will find me hiking, camping, backpacking, skiing, or snowshoeing in the great outdoors with my husband Max. You can follow my outdoor adventures at:
Owner, Maker, Designer
I own and run the Old World Primitives Etsy shop; design ornaments, patterns, and dolls; handcraft ornaments and dolls; pack and ship orders.
* Orders for ornaments and completed dolls are currently shipping in 1-2 business days. Made to order dolls are shipping within 3-5 business days. I will e-mail you a shipping notification with the tracking number for your package when it ships. Digital download orders are available for immediate download after your purchase.
Thank you for visiting Old World Primitives on Etsy.
If you would like to purchase more of an item than I have listed currently in stock, I can always make more for you! Just send me a convo letting me know which item(s) you are interested in, and I will create a reserved listing for you.

*** DOMESTIC ***
I ship ornaments and small dolls via USPS First Class with Delivery Confirmation, usually the next business day after receiving your cleared payment. Larger dolls ship via USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation, usually the next business day after receiving your cleared payment. I will provide you with the tracking number for your package when it ships.
*** INTERNATIONAL ***
I ship via USPS First Class International. This shipping method usually takes 1-3 weeks. In rare cases, a Customs delay may bump delivery time up to 4-6 weeks. I will provide you with the label number for your package when it ships.
* International buyers are responsible for all Customs fees, taxes, and duties associated with shipping to their respective countries, should they be assessed. International orders will not be accepted as returns due to Customs fees, taxes or duties - so make sure that you know what fees to expect. Details are here: http://www.etsy.com/blog/en/2010/shipping-how-to-custom-forms-duties-and-taxes/
*** GIFTS ***
You are welcome to place orders to be shipped directly to a gift recipient. Each and every package that I mail out is beautifully wrapped, and will be nicely presented for your gift recipient. I don't include receipts in any packages (this saves trees), so I won't include one with your gift order either. If you would like me to include a gift note in your package at no extra charge, please specify what you would like it to say in the Note to Seller field during the checkout process. Don't forget to change your own shipping address to the address of the gift recipient during checkout too.
Please note: You will need to place a separate order for each separate recipient that you are having me ship a gift to.
Refunds and Exchanges
Patterns are not eligible for refunds, returns or exchanges. All sales are final on pattern purchases. Patterns are very clearly described as patterns so that they are not confused with finished dolls.
All return shipping costs will be the responsibility of the buyer, and are non-refundable (except of course if a return should ever be due to an error on my part).
Additional policies and FAQs
If you would like to request any type of customization to a product or packaging, please make this request before making your purchase. That way I can determine if I have the ability & materials to accommodate your request, and can calculate what the cost for the customization will be in advance of your purchase. Please do not use the Note to Seller field during checkout as a first point of contact to request customization (that may not be possible, or free).
Old World Primitives is not accepting any new wholesale accounts at this time.
Final Note: My items are collectibles that are intended for display only, and are not suitable for children under 13.
