Five Ways to Buy a Bangle that Fits
If you feel like Harry Houdini every time you slip your hand through a bangle bracelet, you’re not alone.
Many people consider their wrist size when they purchase a bangle, especially if they are buying it online. But in reality, you should buy one that fits over your hand.
Follow these steps to avoid winding up with a bracelet that’s too small.
1. Find a measuring tape and have it ready.
2. Fold your thumb into your palm as though you were taking an oath — or put on a bangle. Bring your little finger toward your thumb.
3. Using the tape, measure around the knuckles nearest your wrist. (These knuckles are the ones you’d use to box, not the ones on your fingers.)
4. Make sure the tape goes all the way around.
