Handmade Quilts for sale - Welcome to our little shop of handmade quilts for the home and baby. We are a Mother / Daughter Design Team making chenille and cotton baby quilts and designer-fabric cotton quilts for the home, adults, and children...among other cool things...
We use new and vintage chenille in our quilts and designer cotton fabrics for our home decor and baby quilts. We also throw in a smattering of cozy flannel for snuggly-soft baby quilts.
On the custom front, we make custom tee-shirt and clothes quilts - just send us your clothes and we will craft a beautiful keepsake you can use now. If a loved one has passed, let us make a Memory Bear from your beloved's shirt - a remembrance that can not only bring comfort to your home, but also be included in a wedding as a ring-bearer pillow.
When we aren't making quilts, we're making tote bags, zipper pouches, baby gift sets, and little girls dresses and skirts. Oh yes, and a chenille teddy bear or panda bear - or an owl tooth fairy pillow - for a finishing touch on a nursery or children's room.
We are always changing up the fabrics we use so please bookmark us to see new items.
** We generally only make one each of the the designer fabric quilts, so once sold, it may be gone for good! But feel free to ask since we may be able to get more fabric if you have a favorite. **

Of course I was not surprised to find that the shams are just as impeccably crafted as the bears. As always, I am totally blown away. It helped make the first Christmas without my sister a little less difficult.

Planning a hexagon baby quilt. 😊
We are a Mother / Daughter Sewing Shop!
We began in 2003 with our pastel chenille quilts and have expanded into baby items, home decor quilts, and tote bags and pouches. We also do custom quilts made from baby clothes, tee-shirts, adult clothes.....you have it we can sew it into a memory keepsake!
Barbara is a retired college Math professor and Jennifer is a working mom to one lovely daughter, Ryan. Ryan has picked up the love of "crafting and sewing" and joins Jennifer in the sewing room - always wanting to help out.
We all live on Long Island in New York on the water - what better inspiration!

Through the fun of working together (as an aside to our full-time jobs plus taking care of our families), we have added fun baby items along the way. Behind our chenille quilt, our second most popular items is our chenille bears - we make Teddy and Panda bears, as can be seen on our Shop Page.

We try to recycle our boxes that are in "good" shape to reuse and we generally ship via ground since it is the cheapest.

We are pleased to ship overseas, but the buyer is responsible for all duty/taxes/ VAT levied in their country. Please note, it can take anywhere from 10 -14 days for international shipping, sometimes longer due to customs which we have no control over once the package leaves the US. Please understand that sometimes when holidays are in full swing it may take longer for you to receive your package.
