The painting was even more incredible that I ever imagined. People stop by it in the hallway and are absolutely marveling at it. Everyone who sees it loves it and wants to know where we got this painting! We are incredibly proud of it and are so thankful for your hard work. I recommend Peter and his Etsy shop at the highest levels!

Peter's painting is exceedingly pleasing. He easily accomodates any edits you may request, and he spends extra attention to detail. However, shipping took longer than he projected. I wouldn't have mind if he communicated with me sooner. Luckily, I put in this custom order much in advance for a birthday present, otherwise I would have been scrambling for last minute gift ideas. Other than that, he is a great artist and his work is wonderful.

The painting was amazing! It was a great experience working with Peter! Thank you so much!
My goal is to provide art lovers with paintings that are both beautiful and cost effective. Over time I have had many special requests and, hopefully, the guidelines below will make the process easiest for everyone. That being said, the main idea is to provide you with the painting you want in the subject, style and size that you want, so I'm very flexible. I hope to make the experience of having a custom portrait painted special and fun. There can be a lot of interaction on some projects while we work through the process. Just let me know if I haven't anticipated something below!
Accepted payment methods
Returns and exchanges
The price for my items listed are for a specific size of painting with a specific number of “figures”. (e.g. a horse or a person). If you have an especially complex background (like the painting with the Colosseum in Rome in the background,) that may count as an additional figure. I will combine up to two images together to make a new composition at no extra charge. For each additional image, textures or compositional elements, please add one Figure to the cost. Please see the chart below for pricing for more figures, (left hand column) or larger/smaller size format canvas (top row). I can also produce any custom size you like, even if it is not listed. To order any size other than the size/figures in an item listing in my shop, please send me a "conversation" and I can create a custom item listing for you.

Additional policies and FAQs
I use many of my past paintings to show people the quality of the work. If you do not wish to have your painting shared, just let me know and I will gladly oblige!
When you place your order, you will send me one or more pictures and your instructions for what you would like in your painting. You may specify items to be added or removed from the pictures, or that colors be changed, so that you get exactly the painting you want. I will work with you personally with suggestions and concepts to improve the composition. I work "atelier style" with several painters who adhere to the quality and styles that I specify and who work under my supervision. Once the painting is done, I will send you a close up digital image of the painting for your approval or requests for changes. You may make as many changes as you would like until you are 100% happy with the painting. Then, once you have approved of the painting and adequate drying time is allowed, I will ship the painting to you. I will typically ship paintings in a sturdy shipping tube, rolled up to prevent damage. You can easily stretch your own painting following these instructions on youtube, or have your framer do it for you. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QkToBRa-O-U
If you do not have a digital image of the photos you want painted, you may send me your original photos and I will return them when the painting is done. Mail photos to:
4000 Greenbriar Blvd.
Boulder, CO 80305
Or contact me at (720)353-9350 if you have questions.
