I have always been fascinated by the idea of transforming raw materials into beautiful and practical products. In 2002 I graduated with a BS in Industrial Engineering focusing in production. I landed the perfect job when I married a wonderful man and very talented woodworker and I got to help him run his already established business.
Right after we found out we were having a baby we wanted to design and decorate the nursery ourselves. I envisioned it, sketched it and it became a beautiful reality thanks to my husband's great craftsmanship and my talent for decoration and crafts.
We welcomed into our lives a beautiful baby boy and his nursery got the greatest reviews from everyone who came to visit. We uploaded some pictures of the project in a blog and we were contacted by australian magazine Cosmopolitan Pregnancy which later featured our baby's nursery in their Autumm 2011 issue.
This great honor inspired us to open an Etsy shop in order to give expectant mommies the opportunity to display in their babies' nurseries beautiful, eco-friendly, long lasting and safe pieces handcrafted with the same quality and love we handcrafted those for our own baby's nursery. We named our shop and blog One Cute Nursery.

While planning our baby's first birthday, I decided to handcraft all the party decor...and one more dream was born: Posh Paper Parties.
It's funny how ' one thing leads to another '. I added my own son's party paper goods and decor to the store one day and the next day I sold my first high chair banner. Today, I handcraft parties for kids all over the world. I have shipped to Japan, Singapore, Canada and Australia!
