Why buy vintage?

> Because it reduces waste, it keeps reusable, quality items out of landfills and reduces the demand for sweat shop produced goods.
> Because it gives you access to one of a kind items that no one else owns or can own. All vintage items are rare and some are one of a kind so if you see something you love be sure to snap it up fast. You are unique, your clothes should be a true reflection of that. Be a true original in vintage.
> Because it is better quality. Ever heard the term fast fashion? This is what modern retail has become and what vintage is not.
> Because buying vintage supports small businesses like this one. Visit my Instagram to see my two rad kids and many furry friends who benefit directly from all sales in this shop.

About

Finding balance

I have always gravitated to thrift shops and estate sales where I can give the treasures I find a new lease on life. I'm also an art student, hair stylist, and hopeful clothing designer. I love the creative process and am just not cut out for a job where I have to sit at a desk and wear a pant suit every day. Thank you Etsy, for giving me a creative outlet that is a passion and a job.

In my spare moments I go for long walks with my sons and dog. I love to write and compose music, I play a bit of guitar and drums and hope to start a band one day. Most days I chase my crazy sons around while juggling the hunting, photographing, mending, listing, designing and shipping process solo.

At the moment life is busy, so I have to steal bits of time here and there for myself while I put my family and my shop on the fore -front. Life is a balancing act.

"I have a problem with perfection. I don't think perfection is very artful. So the object is not to stop or arrive anywhere, its just to make this thing as beautiful as you can." - Elliott Smith
