Modern Handmade Books — Classic, Hand-sewn Bindings
Infinitely inspired by the intricacies of handmade books and their possibilities for visual storytelling, Lauren Bishop fell head over heels for the art of bookmaking during her studies at Kennesaw State University's School of Art and Design.
As a detail-oriented artist, Lauren's education instilled her with an affection for archival and impeccable craftsmanship, marbled papers, hand papermaking, and the soothing quality of the process as a whole. Through having a hand in every step of the bookmaking process, Lauren translates her love for the art form into a tangible object that simply can't wait to become a home for your most cherished memories.
