Welcome to Open Fire Glass Art. Mike Warren has been a glass artist since 1996.

We are also on eBay, our seller name there is openfireglass. Check us out:
(You can also see we have over a thousand positive feedbacks there).

Artist Bio / Artist Rep Statement:

The first thing I ever knew about Mike Warren is that he’s an artist. Not only does he define himself this way, it is his very life. A good day to him is one in which he gets up early and spends productively in his studio. His medium is glass, mainly working with the flame.

Though Mike's been at it since 1996 he’s led a quiet life immersing himself in his pursuit of happiness through sculpting and blowing glass pieces unlike what you may see everyday. His inspirations, like many artists, are beautiful things and things that make him feel good, alive. His children, sea anemones, tide pools, a good hot cup of coffee and an early morning bicycle ride. To feel inspired he must feel positive so with this purpose in mind he’s careful not to participate in self-defeating activities.

He is a master of blending and selecting beautiful colors and he never cuts corners in putting the final touches on his art. Each piece is lovingly designed and handcrafted by a man who lives to create beautiful things. His own worst critic, he will only sell his best work, though if you ever do get to see what he deems his seconds you’ll have a hard time understanding why he considers them as such.

It’s with this level of dedication that Mike Warren creates the heirloom-quality pieces of glass art that are available for sale. They are guaranteed to last you for generations of enjoyment, and you are sure to be glad you have one of his pieces in your personal collection.
