This functional fiber art rug is cool, useful, and well made. I couldn't bear to put it on the floor so it acts as a fantastic chair cover for a favorite comfy chair. Shipping was fast and it was packaged well. Thanks y'all! I love it!

About

Hannah & Blake strive to produce professional handcrafted prints with eco-friendly practices and thoughtfully relevant subject matter.

It's a love story, of course! Blake and Hannah met at Tulane Univeristy in New Orleans, Louisiana while Hannah was finishing up her undergraduate BFA with a concentration in printmaking and Blake was getting started on his MFA in printmaking. It was just after Hurricane Katrina, and every one was tense and sad and a little bit empty feeling.

At first, Blake thought Hannah was some kind of itchy, exciteable midget and Hannah found Blake to be an uppity ascetic. It turns out, they were both right, but they learned to love each other, anyway. They bonded over their shared passions of printmaking, drawing, cooking and hard work.

As love blossomed, so did a serious printmaking partnership. Blake and Hannah organize exhibitions, portfolio exchanges and mini print conferences every year through their collaborative, http://orangebarrelindustries.com/

They started this shop in 2009 as a way to expand their range of interaction and bring their love of finely crafted prints with a sense of humor to the public in a new way!

You can learn more about their everyday activities on their blog, http://orangebarrelindustries.wordpress.com/, which contains recipes, DIY projects, printmaking travel stories and peeks into their sketchbooks! They sincerely apologize for writing this in the third person, but they have gotten so used to it writing artist-bios for exhibitions and websites!

Returns and exchanges
If you wish to cancel your order and I haven't shipped yet, I'll give you a full refund no questions asked!

If shipment has already taken place:

I pay for a tracking # with every shipment. If your item is lost in the mail, I follow through with the shipper to make sure you get refunded.

If you no longer want the item, you may return it to me. You are responsible for the cost of the shipping-to-you and the return shipping, but I am glad to refund you the cost of the item once it arrives back to me in its original condition.
Payment
We must receive payment before we ship. We prefer Paypal but you can also pay with a credit card directly through Etsy.
Shipping
In most cases, we ship the very next business day with tracking # in the U.S. Our standard shipping is U.S.P.S. First Class.

After shipping, I send you a message with the tracking #. I always love to hear when your new artwork arrives safely!

If you need the item faster, just let me know, and I am glad to upgrade you to priority mail, FedEx, or next day at cost. You pay the additional shipping fees.

Most prints 11" x 15" and larger, we ship rolled. This protects the print (it's less likely to get bent or damaged,) saves on cardboard/paper shipping materials (less waste!,) and saves on shipping costs.

I always include instructions on how to easily and safely flatten your print and prepare it for matting/framing/display!

If you prefer the work to be sent flat, just message me and we can make that happen at cost.
Additional policies and FAQs
Feel free to contact me if you want anything custom made. I love doing portraits of both people and animals, for example, so send me some photos and we can cut a deal!

I also make custom "foot print" free form crochet rugs/wall hangings at $15/per square foot. You can see some examples here: https://www.etsy.com/shop/orangebarrel?section_id=13535867
