5 out of 5 starsI love this - it really brightens my day next to my 'wfh' desk - I got it because it looked vibrant and fun and it fills me with similar feelings when I look at it.

Ink|Line|Stitch. Mixed Media Art
I’m Nade, a painter and textile artist from the UK.
My work is collected worldwide & exhibited across the UK.
My stylised designs are bold & vibrant, fusing together strong mark making, contemporary palettes & varied textures.
After gaining distinctions in my Design and Creative Arts HND, I went on to study
Applied & Media Arts at the University of Hertfordshire where I developed my bright, decorative style using many mediums to create colourful layers & textural patterns.
In 2020 I won a Bursary with the School of Stitched Textiles studying Hand Embroidery, I was also thrilled to become a member of The Society for Embroidered Work and my work was featured by MrXStitch online magazine.
In 2022 I became a member of The Wynd Gallery, a collective of UK artists working in Hertfordshire across a broad range of mediums with a strong emphasis on textiles and painting where I exhibit throughout the year both as a group and as a solo artist.
You can see regular updates of my work and shows on my website www.nadesimmonsartstudio.com

Frequently asked questions
Custom and personalised orders
I’m afraid I do not take any custom orders or commissions at this time but I update my shop with new and exciting artworks as frequently as I can.
Discount
Due to the time consuming nature of my work I am unable to offer a discount, even on multiple items.
Gift wrapping and packaging
My hoops and framed artworks are carefully wrapped in acid free tissue and ribbon finish and then carefully and securely packaged in a recyclable box.
I post items out from my studio within three days using Royal Mail as I have found them to be most reliable.
Please see individual listings for postage prices.
Care instructions
I take every care to ensure my pieces will last for years to come however please remember they are decorative items and as such should be handled minimally and with care.
They are definitely not suitable for children as they often contain small parts.
Please do not dismantle your piece, framed art can be gently wiped and Hooped Embroideries are best dusted with a feather duster or soft brush such as a clean blusher brush to keep them clean.
Avoid hanging your piece in direct sunlight, I often use vintage fabrics and threads and cannot be sure of their colourfastness.
Colour
I aim to depict the colours of my pieces as accurately as possible however there is a chance that the colours may vary on different devices.
